Job Summary:
A Dialysis Unit Nurse is needed in Livonia, Michigan. This position involves providing comprehensive care to dialysis patients, including assessments, medication administration, and oversight of dialysis therapy. The role requires supervising clinical technicians and acting as a charge nurse, with a focus on patient safety, education, and team collaboration.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts; 4 days a week; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of a state-approved nursing school; current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with the applicable State Board of Nursing; at least 12 months of nursing experience including 3 months providing nursing care to maintenance Hemodialysis patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to demonstrate teamwork, initiative, willingness to learn, understanding, motivation, sensitivity, infection control knowledge, cannulation skills, dialysis therapy monitoring, medication administration, patient education, documentation, problem solving, decision making, leadership, communication, ownership, machine setup, disinfection.
• Additional Information: The selected candidate will see up to 36 patients per day across multiple clinic locations, which may include Eastpointe, Dearborn, Clinton Twp., Detroit, Southfield, Pontiac, and Taylor, Michigan. The role involves responding to alarms, performing blood draws, maintaining safety and infection control, and adhering to operational and quality standards. Flexibility and strong communication skills are essential. The position begins on 07/27/2026 and is a 13-week assignment.
