Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) New York, NY. This role involves providing specialized patient care within a cardiac-focused PICU unit. Candidates must demonstrate strong cardiac skills, including experience with VAD, Heart Mate 3, Berlin, and ECMO. The position requires adherence to unit-specific protocols and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Shift: Nights, 11.5 hours per shift
- Total Hours Per Week: 34.5
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
- Required Qualifications: BSN degree or current New York State RN license, at least 2 years of recent experience in pediatric ICU or similar specialty, experience with VAD, Heart Mate 3, Berlin, and ECMO, AHA BLS certification, COVID vaccination, skills checklist matching order skill set, local New York City experience preferred, two references from most recent relevant assignment
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong cardiac skills, experience with acuity-appropriate units, willingness to float within skill set
- Additional Information: Offfers are valid for 48 business hours; candidate must provide own navy bottom and white top or all white scrubs with appropriate shoes. No float requirement.
