Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurses are sought for a healthcare organization in Englewood, Colorado. The role involves providing high-quality patient care on a busy surgical unit, focusing on post-operative assessments, pain management, and patient recovery. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic team environment during day shifts.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Neuro-Intensive Heart Monitoring (NIHSS) certification, Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) experience, and at least 1 year of relevant experience in medical-surgical or post-operative care
• Preferred Qualifications: Urology experience and Gynecology/Oncology experience are advantageous
• Unit Information: Surgical unit with 24 beds, staffed predominantly by day shift nurses, with experience in post-operative assessments, prostatectomy, hysterectomy care, CBIs, pain management including patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) and epidurals, and Foley catheter maintenance
• Additional Information: No special scheduling or time-off requests after acceptance are required. Candidates should be team-oriented, compassionate, flexible, and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
