Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Sylvania, Ohio. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care by performing nursing assessments, developing individualized care plans, and supporting patient safety and recovery. The RN supervises licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and orientees, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and clinical standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours each, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS Certification; Valid ACLS Certification (for CIRH only); at least two (2) years of bedside clinical experience; ICU experience; Critical Care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, participates in patient rehabilitation programs, initiates discharge planning and patient education, maintains accurate documentation, and communicates effectively with care teams. The RN provides direction and supervision to ancillary staff, contributes to a positive work environment, and pursues ongoing professional development.
