Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical Nurse Sanford, Maine. Job Details:

• Location: Sanford, Maine
• Position: 1 full-time Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical Nurse
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BSN or higher degree, relevant certification such as WCEN (Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification), and at least 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with wound care, ostomy management, and patient education in ambulatory or outpatient environments
• Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for monitoring equipment, performing complex treatments like wound and ostomy care, and documenting patient care according to professional standards. They must ensure patient safety, legal compliance, and proper handling of hazardous materials if assigned.
