Description

Job Summary:
The Nursing Professional in the Medical Surgical Cardiac specialty in New York provides comprehensive patient-centered care for individuals with cardiac conditions in an ambulatory care setting. This role involves delivering safe, evidence-based nursing practices within a collaborative environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and experience.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 7.5-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: NYS Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum 2 years of ambulatory care experience; at least 2 years of prior RN or LPN experience; 1 year of travel experience for travel positions (not required for Per Diem); EPIC electronic health record experience highly preferred.
  • Experience in outpatient or cardiac procedure settings is highly preferred; cardiology non-invasive experience is highly desired.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing preferred; associate degree considered with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
  • Schedule: 7.5 hours per shift, within a weekly minimum of 37.5 hours, with a rotating shift time.
