Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse (RN) position is available in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This role involves providing patient-centered care in a busy inpatient unit with a focus on orthopedic and medical-surgical patient populations. The position is scheduled for night shifts, and candidates will be expected to manage a patient load effectively while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Position: RN, LPN, PCT (Must have a positive attitude, be willing to work hard, manage patient loads, utilize teamwork strategies, and provide patient-centered care)
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor (MS)
• Location: Bowling Green, KY
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week, with a requirement to work 4 weekend shifts per schedule period (e.g., 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday)
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification, appropriate certifications and education for RN, LPN, or PCT roles, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit specifics include 30 beds in Orthopedics and 37 beds in Medical-Surgical units.
  • Staff utilize documentation systems such as Meditech.
  • Candidates should adhere to the departments dress code, which includes scrub tops and bottoms, with no fleece or sweatshirts, and proper footwear without holes or denim.
  • Floating to inpatient units, CCU, and Emergency Department may be required.
  • Candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
