Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Lawton, Oklahoma. This role involves developing and implementing total nursing care for patients by assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care planning. The position emphasizes teamwork and leadership within a clinical setting to provide care to a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA). Valid Oklahoma state license. Two years of medical surgical experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: Develop and implement total nursing care for patients by assessment, nursing diagnosis, patient care plans, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Develop systems to provide care to a population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Submission of applications should include proof of required certifications and licensure.
