Description

Job Summary:
Surgical Technician specializing in Operating Room (OR) at a healthcare facility in Pittsburgh, PA. This position involves working on a rotating schedule including days, evenings, and nights. The role requires call participation and weekend shifts, with a response time of thirty minutes. The Surgical Technician will assist in a variety of cases, ensuring adherence to safety and clinical protocols.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights, with rotating days, evenings, and nights shifts. Call and weekends required. Call response time: 30 minutes.
Required Qualifications: Certifications from NBSTSA or NCCT; minimum of 3 years of recent OR experience, with at least 1 year in Level 1 Trauma settings; minimum of 1 year of travel experience in the last 3 years; scrub proficiency in General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant cases.
Preferred Qualifications: Level 1 Trauma experience (minimum 1 year within last 3 years).
Additional Information: Must be certified with NBSTSA or NCCT. All shifts are rotating (days, evenings, nights). Call can be weekday and/or weekend with a response time of 30 minutes. In-house call rooms are available for use if needed.
