Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Spokane, Washington. This position involves providing critical care for a diverse patient population, including respiratory emergencies, behavioral health, trauma, sepsis, cardiac events, stroke, and general medical emergencies for all ages, with approximately 20% pediatric cases. The role requires clinical expertise in trauma, bedside procedures, medication administration, and triage, working in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Spokane, WA
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting July 27, 2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure/certification including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS; minimum 2 years trauma experience, 5+ years preferred if first-time traveler; skills in CPR/codes, trauma care, bedside procedures, medication mixing and administration (including cardiac drips/pressors), IV placement, Foley catheters, NG tubes, triaging; ultrasound-guided IV skills are a plus; EMR experience with EPIC preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: NRP certification; experience with pediatric patients; ability to work independently in a critical emergency environment.
• Additional Information: This position may be suitable for first-time travelers with extensive experience. US address for facility: 800 West Fifth Avenue, Spokane, WA 99204. The role involves floating to the Deaconess Emergency Department; no on-call responsibilities. Scrub color is flexible, with no graphics allowed.
