Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) open heart procedures at a healthcare facility in Erie, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing specialized surgical nursing care for cardiac procedures within a busy cardiac operating suite. The RN will be responsible for assisting in cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining sterile environments throughout the operative process.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with shifts starting at 7:00 AM and ending at 5:00 PM.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 3 years of experience in operating room open heart procedures, and experience in cardiovascular (CVOR) surgery. Must have completed CV-OR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) training or certification. Offer requires phone interview and prior CV-OR experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-acuity cardiac surgeries, proficiency in sterile techniques, and familiarity with cardiac anesthesia protocols.
• Additional Information: The position requires work every other weekend and holidays. Candidates must be willing to undergo flu and COVID-19 vaccinations unless medical or religious declinations are provided. Offers require response within 48 hours; once accepted, time off cannot be altered.
