Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor RN in Lynchburg, Virginia. This position involves providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population within a general medicine and medical-surgical unit. The role requires adherence to hospital protocols and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, with orientation dates beginning in August 2026.

Job Details:

Shift: 12-hour nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 2 years of recent travel experience in a medical-surgical setting, skills checklist, copy of Nursys license, willingness to float to sister campus if needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Cerner experience.
Float: Float rotation is not required; however, travel nurses may be asked to float to related units if necessary.
Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for August 10 and August 24, 2026. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent healthcare experience and provide a comprehensive work history, explaining all gaps exceeding 90 days. Submission includes a skills checklist and licensing documentation. This is a travel assignment with limited request for time off.
