Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician in Clinton Township, Michigan. This role involves cleaning, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, and monitoring surgical products used in various hospital departments including the operating room, emergency room, and delivery room. The technician will support surgical teams by preparing case carts according to surgeon preferences and ensuring all supplies are available when needed to facilitate smooth surgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts available: one position from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, and another from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Total hours per week: 40 hours.
• Required Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent; Central Service Certification; at least 5-7 years of experience; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred; effective interpersonal communication skills, computer skills, and demonstrated customer service skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Completion of medical terminology course.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include documenting sterilization processes in compliance with standards, stocking supplies, coordinating with surgical teams, and ensuring proper sterilization and supply chain management. The candidate must demonstrate good communication, attendance, and will be trained on specific duties.
