Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Evanston, IL. This position involves providing specialized care for high-acuity neonates, including micro preemies at 44 weeks gestation, some requiring respiratory support and surgical interventions. The role requires a dedicated professional to work during night shifts, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Evanston, IL
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); 3+ years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level III/Level 4, with at least 44 weeks gestation micro preemies, high acuity care, grower feeders, and some on respiratory support or surgical needs.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting experience, familiarity with high-acuity NICU environment, knowledge of trauma level III procedures.
• Float: May float to other NorthShore facilities; float assignments will be communicated up to 2 hours prior to the scheduled shift.
• Orientation: 12 hours/6 hours non-billable.
• Additional Information: This role involves working in a high-level NICU with complex patient needs, using Epic charting system, and providing critical neonatal care.
