Job Summary
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurse position is located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This role involves coordinating and delivering safe, effective, and patient-family centered care for surgical patients recovering from anesthesia. The nurse will support patients through various phases of post-operative recovery and collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal care. The role requires a nurse with experience in various surgical procedures and the ability to serve in multiple perioperative roles depending on training and skill.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience, current licensure as RN in good standing, current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications, Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience, experience in gastroenterology/endoscopy lab, orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT surgical procedures, or interventional pain management.
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification is preferred.
• Additional Information: The candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in diverse surgical environments is required. The start date for this assignment is 07/20/2026.
