Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in Portland, Maine. This position involves providing skilled nursing care within a medical-surgical unit, specializing in telemetry. The role requires adaptability, teamwork, and a positive attitude to ensure optimal patient outcomes and quality care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 1900-0700 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute medical-surgical experience with telemetry, and current certification in stroke, SI/Restraints, telemetry, and blood glucose management.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PCA, epidural, wound vac, and IV pumps.
- Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, document care in electronic medical records, and collaborate with team members to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Position Location: 22 Bramhall Street, Portland, ME 04102.
- Start Date: 07/26/2026.
- Additional Information: Must have inpatient acute medical-surgical experience with telemetry. Unit includes stroke-certified patients. Flexibility to float per hospital needs according to unit guidelines.
