Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in Redding, California. The RN will provide specialized care in the Family Birth Center, managing both low and high-risk deliveries, with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This role involves working nights, supporting a diverse patient population, and adhering to hospital protocols and certifications.

Job Details:

• Location: Redding, California
• Shift: 12-hour nights, with every other weekend, approximately 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/04/2026
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Fetal Monitoring, COVID Vaccine (Certification required)
• Education & Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, licensure to submit required, no BSN required
• Schedule: Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with weekends off alternate weekends, first to float may be required
• Unit Notes: Telemetry, Labor and Delivery, Emergency and Critical Care RN's will take a proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite, pass/fail. Follow California nurse-to-patient ratios. Staff utilizes Cerner EMR and Fetal Link surveillance systems.
• Patient Care: Will manage low and high-risk pregnancies, including transfers for congenital defects requiring immediate surgery. The facility has a Level III NICU.
• Other Details: No telehealth. Bedside care is provided with support from OB techs who cover desk and scrub. Matching patient needs for pediatric and neonatal units will be required.
