Job Summary
Washington, District of Columbia The healthcare facility is seeking a Nurse Manager with experience in leading stroke programs. The role involves developing and managing system-wide operations of the comprehensive stroke program, implementing strategic growth plans, and driving performance through data analysis and quality improvement initiatives. The Nurse Manager will lead interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and surpass national quality benchmarks.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 08/24/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in related field, DC Registered Nurse (RN) license, 3 years of related experience, proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge of healthcare regulations, Performance Improvement methodology; Certification in Neuroscience (CNRN) preferred, Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Neuroscience (CNRN), Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Additional Information: The candidate must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility. The role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, quality, safety, and education initiatives aimed at improving stroke patient outcomes and exceeding benchmarks. The position requires strong leadership, project management, and data analysis skills to develop actionable plans that achieve measurable objectives.
