Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse ISSAQUAH, WA. This outpatient oncology position involves supporting infusion needs with chemotherapy administration and managing patients with cancer diagnoses. The role requires acute care medical-surgical oncology experience, with a focus on chemotherapy infusion procedures in a busy outpatient setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: 9-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026.
- Required Qualifications: One year of experience, active compact license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) fundamentals of chemotherapy certification, and chemotherapy experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Outpatient oncology experience, extensive chemotherapy administration experience.
- Additional Information: Outpatient clinic with a daily census of approximately 30 patients, supporting infusion needs with outpatient MDs. Knowledge of managing ports, chemotherapy infusion, extravasation injury, cytotoxic spill disposal, PICC line care, and IV management is required. Rare float rotation may be necessary, but no call or weekend coverage is scheduled.
