Job Summary
Operating Room (First Assistant) at a healthcare facility in an unspecified location. This position involves providing advanced surgical assistance in a busy operating room environment, supporting a variety of complex procedures. Job Details

• Certifications/Education: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, CNOR, and CRNFA required.
• Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of recent operating room experience as a First Assistant.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, CNOR, CRNFA certifications, at least 2 years of experience in operating room assisting.
• Familiarity with procedures including abdominal hysterectomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, total hip and knee replacements, and laparoscopic surgeries.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting surgical teams in a medium census setting (8-12 patients daily).
• Will split call with other RNFA, with weekend shifts included.
• Additional Information: The role involves assisting during a variety of surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic technique, counting sponges and related items, applying tourniquets, and managing surgical instrumentation and equipment. Candidates must complete onboarding Labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and submit all compliance documents 10 days prior to the start date.
