Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse position in Castro Valley, California. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a critical imaging services environment, supporting complex interventional procedures, and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. The position offers an opportunity to work in a high-acuity setting, applying advanced skills in vascular and interventional treatments.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, 8 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California State Nurse Licensure (RN) as verified through Nursys within the last 2 weeks; active certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); a minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology, cardiac cath lab, or critical care settings.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with activated clotting time (ACT), carotid angiography, central venous access/port placement, cerebral angiography, dialysis graft interventions, embolization, endovascular procedures, ERCP, hybrid operating room procedures, interventional cardiac cath lab, stent placement, and interventional radiology.
  • Additional Information: The role entails assisting with complex procedures, patient handling, and responding to emergency or crisis situations. Candidates must complete onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and ensure all compliance documentation is submitted 10 days prior to start. The assignment begins on 07/27/2026, with holiday and RTO policies applicable as outlined.
