Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a hospital setting. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to women throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The position requires clinical expertise in obstetric procedures and patient management, supporting a multilingual community, and working within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), fetal monitoring, and a valid nursing license. Education requirements include an RN degree.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly Epic; scrub experience; comfort with postpartum care from transition to discharge for mother and baby; multilingual abilities (Russian/Spanish preferred).
• Additional Information: Must be able to perform cervical exams, antepartum and labor procedures, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IV placements, Pitocin administration, and circulating C-sections. Baby catching and receiving, APGAR score assessment, and breastfeeding support are required. Experience with post-partum care across the entire transition to discharge is strongly preferred. Scrub-trained nurses and first-time travelers are welcome.
