Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in Concord, California. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a specialized unit dedicated to patients who require close monitoring and continuous care. The position offers a dynamic environment where clinical skills are essential for patient safety and recovery.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California nursing license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), and at least 1 year of experience in a progressive care or similar setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional certification such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for providing patient assessment, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs according to hospital policies and procedures, including SOPs, in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
