Job Summary
A Certified Surgical Technician specializing in operating room procedures is needed for a Labor and Delivery unit in Elmira, New York. This role involves supporting high-risk obstetric cases in a 10-bed unit with attached ORs, assisting in surgical cases, stocking supplies, cleaning rooms and equipment, and completing daily checks. The position starts on July 5, 2026, and offers a day shift schedule.
Job Details
- Location: Elmira, New York, United States
- Position: Certified Operating Room Technician
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Certified Surgical Technician certification, no minimum experience required, valid license or certification as applicable, includes location requirement of Elmira, NY
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in high-risk obstetric or labor and delivery units is desirable
- Additional Information: Responsible for assisting in operating room cases, stocking rooms and supplies, cleaning rooms and equipment, and completing daily checks. May be required to serve as a safety sitter in the hospital during periods of low census.
