Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Granbury, Texas. This position involves providing specialized care in a labor and delivery unit within a healthcare organization. The role supports patients throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care, with a focus on high-risk situations and neonatal resuscitation participation.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) AHA or ARC; NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and STABLE preferred; 2 years of experience; ability to circulate C-sections; high-risk labor management; Pitocin titration; fetal monitoring interpretation; neonatal resuscitation participation; postpartum/couplet care competency.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous rural hospital experience; experience in labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and neonatal care.
- Position Details: One position available, contract replacement.
- Additional Information: Must work one major holiday if the assignment overlaps. Requires the ability to float within womens services. Max RTO of 6 days within a 6-week period. Must include home address and SSN on submission. Travelers must be more than 50 miles from the facility. The facility has 8 beds, and EMR systems used include GE Centricity Perinatal (CPN), Medhost for orders and charges, and Med Scan for medication administration. Scrub color options are navy blue or pink.
