Description
Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position is based in Downey, California. This role involves providing specialized care in the Labor and Delivery department, supporting high-risk pregnancies, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure positive patient outcomes. The position is scheduled for dayshift coverage starting on July 20, 2026, with a commitment of 12-hour shifts.
Job Details:
- Location: Downey, California
- Schedule: Dayshift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in labor and delivery, graduate of an accredited nursing program, valid registered nurse license in the state of care, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field; five (5) or more years of recent labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years; high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years; high-risk obstetrics experience preferred.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced labor and delivery setting, demonstrate strong clinical skills, and possess the necessary licenses and certifications at the time of assignment.
