Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Technologist / Surgical Technician with obstetrics (OB) experience for a travel assignment at a healthcare facility located in Arcadia, California. This position involves supporting vaginal deliveries and cesarean section procedures, ensuring smooth surgical operations within a high census unit. The role is ideal for candidates with a background in OB and surgical technology seeking a temporary opportunity to contribute to patient care in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience as a Scrub Technician with OB experience; BLS certification; Surgical Technician program/certification preferred; Location in California; No minimum experience required
• Special Equipment: Not specified
• Additional Information:
  • The assignment is contract-to-hire for up to 10 weeks, starting on 07/27/2026, with orientation deadline COB 07/07/2026
  • Float rotation may be required in some cases
  • No on-call duties are required, but optional
  • The position requires working two of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving/Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Years Eve/New Years Day
  • The facility requires references and clinical onboarding including flu vaccination; COVID-19 vaccination is strongly recommended but not mandatory
