Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse in Durant, Oklahoma. This position involves providing patient care on a medical-surgical unit within a general healthcare facility. The role offers day shifts with floating responsibilities, ensuring comprehensive patient treatment and adherence to clinical standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with floating required, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification; PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification within 6 months of start date; 2+ years of relevant clinical experience; experience working with Cerner electronic medical records system; location in Durant, Oklahoma.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a medical-surgical setting; strong patient care skills; effective communication abilities.
- Additional Information: The role requires floating across units, a patient ratio of 6:1, and staffing on the 2nd and 3rd floors with a total of 72 beds. Scrub color required is black. No call obligations.
- Start Date: 08/03/2026.
