Job Summary:
Oregon-based Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse position on the day shift. This role involves providing direct patient care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and performing general nursing duties in a hospital setting. The position requires a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12 hours
• Schedule: Shift Time: Days; Shift Hours: 12; Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
• Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current RN license in the State of Oregon
  • BLS - required
  • PALS - required
  • ACLS - required
  • Evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and area of practice
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSN or MSN degree
  • Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN)
  • Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience
  • CRASE training (if assignment extends beyond 6 months)
• Additional Information:
  • The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and responding rapidly to changes.
  • The employee may be floated to other departments where qualified.
  • Participation in required educational programs aligned with hospital standards is expected.
