Description
Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) for a full-time day shift position at a medical center located in Portland, Oregon. This role entails delivering coordinated nursing care to a patient or a group of patients in a dynamic hospital environment, ensuring adherence to established standards of care while supervising nursing staff and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Job Details:
- Location: 10123 Se Market Street, Portland, OR 97216
- Shift: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts
- Hours: Minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- Preferred Qualifications: Acute care facility experience preferred
- Essential Functions: Collects pertinent patient data, analyzes assessment information for diagnosis and care planning, develops and implements care plans, evaluates outcomes, collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members, provides education, participates in discharge planning, delegates appropriately, and performs other duties as assigned
- Organizational Requirements: All associates are required to receive all mandated vaccinations, with exemptions possible for medical or religious reasons. The healthcare organization participates in E-Verify for employment verification.
