Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Lafayette, Colorado. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical procedures in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The role encompasses assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as providing health education, counseling, and support to promote patient well-being. The nurse may be required to float to other departments within the scope of their competency and qualifications, and may also be placed on call during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: Lafayette, Colorado
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, current RN license valid in the state of practice, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing.
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) required; ACLS, NRP, or PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit or service are preferred.
• Additional Information: The role involves executing medical functions, documentation, patient assessment, health teaching, counseling, therapy and treatment planning, delegation, supervision, and consulting.
