Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position, located in a critical access hospital setting in Colville, Washington. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a 10-bed ER environment, with responsibilities including patient assessment, management of multisystem organ dysfunction, and coordination of emergency protocols. The position requires flexibility in shift rotations and adherence to specific patient care standards.

Job Details

  • Shift Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC certifications, minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, experience with patient ratios of 3-4, proficiency with Epic charting system, and experience in community hospital settings.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of ventilated patients, central line care/management, and multisystem organ failure.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required between units.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work in a 10-bed ER with cardiac, stroke, sepsis, and trauma alert protocols. The unit collaborates with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams. The facility cares for patients across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics. The assignment begins on 07/27/2026, with a required orientation of 40 hours prior to start.
  • Submittal Requirements: Include responses to prior employment at Providence facilities, reference contacts covering the last 3 years, and ensure all licensing and RTO requests are specified at submission.
