Job Summary:
The Healthcare Provider specializing in Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking qualified candidates for a critical care role. The position involves providing specialized nursing care in a cardiovascular intensive care setting, supporting patients with complex and acute health conditions, and working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 3x12 rotating shifts (19:00-07:30 / 07:00-19:30)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/20/2026
• Minimum Experience: 0 years required, with 1 year of experience preferred
• Certifications: Active Maryland RN license, BLS, ACLS, and CPI certification required; NIHSS and CCRN preferred
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI; valid Maryland RN license; minimum of 1 year experience in cardiovascular intensive care settings; experience charting with Epic electronic medical record system; previous community hospital or similar facility experience preferred
• Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics
• Patient Census: Average of 10 patients daily in a 15-bed unit
• Patient Ratio: 1:1, up to 3 with stable, lower acuity patients
• Common Diagnoses and Procedures: Cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, heart failure, arrhythmias (including heart blocks), myocardial infarction, pulmonary hypertension, advanced therapies (LVAD, heart transplants), mechanical support devices (IABP, Impella), bedside A-line insertions, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertions, Swan-Ganz/PA cath insertions, targeted temperature management, CRRT, Impella, VAD, IABP, Vent, Cooling Device, CCO monitor, and more.
• Special Equipment: Impella, VAD, IABP, CRRT, Ventilators, Cooling Devices, CCO Monitor
• Float Requirements: Occasional floating to ICU, lower acuity units, or Cardiac Progressive Care Unit as needed.
• Other Details: Must be comfortable working every other weekend and scheduled holidays; scheduled on-call shifts are not required.
• Additional Information: The role involves advanced cardiovascular interventions, invasive bedside procedures, and working with specialized equipment and critical care protocols.
