Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Easton, Maryland. This position involves providing acute and critical care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The selected candidate will work rotating night and evening shifts, delivering high-quality patient care across all age groups with a focus on complex diagnoses and rapid response.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts with rotation to evening shifts (19:00-07:30 / 15:00-03:30). The minimum hours per week are 36.
• Required Qualifications: Active Maryland or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI (completed during onboarding), NRP and TNCC preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department, including community hospital and charting system experience (Epic). Certification in ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I or II experience, experience with complex patient diagnoses, and prior trauma certification.
• Patient Age Range: Neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics.
• Patient Ratio: 1:4, can extend to 1:5 with lower acuity.
• Additional Information: The role requires float within the ED specialty, including to sister facilities as needed, and involves managing a diverse patient population with varying diagnoses. The department features 32 rooms, with a daily census approximating 90 visits. Candidates must be comfortable floating without restrictions and accept the scheduling conditions as outlined.
