Description
Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position in Meridian, Idaho. This role involves providing skilled nursing care to patients with various cardiac and medical conditions in an acute care setting. The RN will be responsible for monitoring, assessment, and documentation, ensuring quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with weekends as needed. First to float to similar units and medical-surgical departments; may also float to ICU if experienced.
- Required Qualifications: Idaho RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); minimum 2 years of experience as a telemetry nurse; cardiac drip experience; NIH stroke assessment experience; post cath recovery and chest tube experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TR bands and Fem stops, interpreting and documenting monitors every 6 hours using SpaceLab and Philips systems.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: This unit primarily cares for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, Stroke, Sepsis, Diabetes, CAD, Renal Failure, Respiratory Failure, Pneumothorax, post cath lab patients. Experience managing cardiac drips, reading telemetry monitors, and working with RT-managed equipment preferred. Orientation includes system onboarding and two shift-specific orientations.
