Description
Job Summary:
A Step Down Unit registered nurse (RN) is needed at a healthcare facility located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position involves working night shifts and providing high-quality patient care within a critical care setting. The RN will be placed on a unit based on the greatest need, whether it be Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg), or Telemetry, utilizing their skills and experience to contribute effectively to patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Location: Milwaukee, WI
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience; experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as EPIC; current RN license; ability to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with step-down or progressive care units; prior travel experience; familiarity with unit-specific protocols and procedures
- Additional Information: The facility requires flexibility to float onsite within skill sets or to other sites within a 40-mile radius. The position involves scheduled orientation and adherence to facility standards, including the facilitys set shift start and end times.
