Description

Job Summary:
Psychiatric Assessment Specialist RN position located in Beachwood, Ohio. This role involves providing mental health assessments and patient care within the psychiatric unit, working a night shift schedule. The position requires a compassionate and proactive RN with experience in mental health settings.

Job Details:

Shift: Nights, 12 hours shift time, approximately 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 1 year of nursing experience, certifications including BLS and Handle With Care (HWC).
Preferred Qualifications: Recognizing mental health as an illness, experience with detox, depression, psychosis.
Additional Information: Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays. Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for travel. The unit serves patients aged 18 to 99 and utilizes electronic health records. Candidates must be unbothered by patients' comments, compassionate about mental health, and proactive during down times.
