Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Joplin, Missouri. This role involves providing advanced patient care in a high acuity ICU setting, with a focus on complex medical, surgical, trauma, and stroke patients. The position requires a dedicated nursing professional capable of delivering quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 3x12, 1900-0730
• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); minimum 2 years experience in a high acuity ICU; BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA; PALS and TNCC certifications preferred; located within Missouri; no minimum experience requirement other than 2 years for the specific role.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working at a level II trauma center, certified STEMI and stroke center, with the ability to care for complex patients.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to areas of clinical competence.
• Unit Information: 24-bed ICU, patient ratios typically 1:2, with potential for 1:1 or 1:3 based on acuity and staffing; equipment includes IV pumps, chest tubes, GE monitoring, Artic Sun, glucometers, feeding pumps, etc.; EMR system is EPIC.
• Responsibilities: Care for medical, surgical, trauma, and stroke patients; titrate IV medications including vasopressors; adhere to facility dress code requiring black scrubs.
