Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical services is needed at a healthcare organization located in Washington, MO. This position involves providing pre-operative and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) services within an outpatient surgical setting, supporting patient recovery needs. The selected candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care aligned with facility standards and patient safety protocols.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Missouri Licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), 2+ years of clinical experience in Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical settings, and must be authorized to work in Missouri.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with patient education and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, strong communication skills, and ability to participate in process improvement activities.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Position involves assessing and documenting patient educational needs, communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, participating in unit huddles and meetings, facilitating patient handoffs using safety tools, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
