Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical (MS) registered nurse (RN) is needed for a facility located in Devils Lake, North Dakota. This position involves providing high-quality care on a medical-surgical floor with a focus on patient safety, teamwork, and adaptability within a rural healthcare setting. The RN will be responsible for supporting various patient care activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current registered nurse (RN) licensure, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required by the facility. Demonstrated competency in both circulating and scrub roles for surgical procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in rural healthcare environments and working with multiple surgical specialties is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The candidate will be working on a medical-surgical floor with potential responsibilities in emergency and trauma situations. Flexibility to adapt to varying patient volumes and staffing needs is essential. The role may involve participation in quality improvement initiatives and orientation of new staff.
