Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is located in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves providing direct clinical care to patients on a per shift basis, supervising staff, and supporting the facility's chief nursing officer to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. The position demands competence in caring for critically ill patients within the ICU setting.
Job Details:
- Location: Tucson, AZ
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications, educational background, and experience include: valid nursing license, relevant clinical experience, and at least 1 year of experience in critical care nursing.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior ICU experience and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification are preferred.
- Additional Information: The ICU / CCU registered nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients, supervising staff, and supporting the facility's chief nursing officer to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and resource management related to patient care.
