Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Northampton, MA. The organization is seeking a qualified OR RN to provide circulating nursing care during surgical procedures. The role involves acting as a patient advocate for anesthetized individuals, ensuring safety and effective care while meeting diverse physiologic and functional needs across various patient populations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, requiring 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; 1 to 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience required.

- Additional Information: The role involves performing the duties of Circulating Nurse in the operating room setting, with responsibilities including patient advocacy and supporting safe surgical practices. Call duty is required, approximately three weeknights per month from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. and one weekend day per month from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. The candidate must demonstrate ability to interact effectively across a range of patient populations, including pre-natal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
