Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves performing circulating nurse duties during surgical procedures, advocating for patients under anesthesia, and providing safe, effective perioperative care. The position requires interacting with diverse patient populations, including pre-natal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric groups, and functioning effectively within an inter-disciplinary team.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Days; 10-hour shifts, approximately 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license/certificate verification, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, and 1 to 3 years Operating Room experience.

- Additional Information: The OR RN will take about one to three weeks of call per month, including three weeknights (roughly 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.) and one weekend (Saturday or Sunday, 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.). Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across various patient age groups.
