Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart Surgical Technologist position available in GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado. The role involves performing scrub duties, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting in the preparation and care of surgical patients. The technician will assemble case carts, handle instruments and specimens, and support surgical teams during open heart procedures. The position requires adherence to sterile techniques and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure efficient surgical operations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, Days 4x10 hours. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, graduation from a formal accredited surgical technologist program, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, at least 1 year of CVOR scrubbing experience, and 2 years of Surgical Tech experience. Valid CO License (DORA).
• Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year clinical experience in an accredited hospital is preferred.
• Additional Information: The role may require floating to other departments based on business needs and being on-call during scheduled shifts. Candidates must demonstrate strong sterile technique, instrumentation handling, specimen care, and supply restocking skills.
