Job Summary:
Operating Room Technologist, WENATCHEE, Washington. This position involves serving as a crucial member of the perioperative team, responsible for maintaining sterile environments and assisting during surgical procedures. The role requires technical proficiency, adherence to aseptic standards, and the ability to respond effectively to emergency situations within the operating room setting.

Job Details:

• Shift: Day shifts, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification by the National Certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists, graduation from an accredited school of Surgical Technology, current Washington State Surgical Technologist license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 1 year of experience in operating room settings
• Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated proficiency in surgical procedures across various specialties and experience handling emergency situations
• Additional Information: Functions include setting up sterile fields, assisting with instrumentation, ensuring equipment safety, performing sponge, needle, and instrument counts, and properly managing specimens according to departmental policies
