Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position is located in Orange, California. This role involves providing specialized care in a high-acuity ICU setting. The position requires recent ICU experience and offers nights shifts, with the opportunity to float between units as needed to meet patient care demands.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California licensure in hand; ICU experience of at least 2 years; ACLS and BLS certifications; operating within a local radius of 50 miles; open to first-time travelers; willing to float between units; able to work every other weekend with potential to exceed this schedule; RTO restrictions apply.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NIHSS certification; proficiency in Epic charting system; community hospital experience preferred.
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for adult, geriatric, and adolescent patient populations with diagnoses including respiratory failure, stroke, shock, and multiple organ failure. Candidates should be comfortable managing complex procedures, invasive devices, ventilators, and hemodynamic monitoring. Candidates must be able to work nights and meet facility-specific scheduling needs, including holiday shifts.
• Travel Compliance: Candidate must disclose previous employment at a facility in a similar setting and have the LA fire safety card within the last 30 days. Two recent references are required. Travel is expected to include floating between all facilities within the state.
• Submittal Requirements: Candidate responses to previous employment at a facility, current license status, and references must be included.
