Job Summary:
Telemetry registered nurse position in a healthcare facility located in Golden, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in a step-down/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, providing health education and counseling, and executing delegated medical functions. The position requires the ability to float to other departments within scope of competency and may involve being placed on-call during scheduled shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice. - BLS (American Heart Association) certification. - ACLS (American Heart Association) certification. - NIHSS certification. - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required). - 1+ years of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree of Nursing. - Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Additional Information: - May be required to float to other departments based on operational needs. - May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts. - Focus on providing quality patient care through clinical assessment, health teaching, therapy, and treatment planning. - Documentation and resource utilization are essential components of the role.
