Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery specialty position is located in Warwick, Rhode Island. This role involves providing nursing care to patients during the labor and delivery process, supporting the hospital's philosophy of patient-centered care. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional with relevant licensure and certifications to ensure high-quality maternal care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program, a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience or equivalent, Rhode Island state licensure, BLS certification, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required, Epic experience required/mandatory
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
- Additional Information: The role involves providing both direct and indirect nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery department, with a focus on maternal and neonatal health. The position requires maintaining current licensure and certifications, with proficiency in electronic health record systems.
