Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Rhode Island. This role involves providing nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery Department, either directly or indirectly, in accordance with the hospitals philosophy of patient-centered care. The position requires a dedicated professional with relevant certification and licensure to support obstetric and neonatal services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program, a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience or equivalent, Rhode Island State Licensure, BLS certification, BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications, and EPIC experience are required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) is preferred.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive maternal and neonatal nursing care, supporting obstetric procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout labor and delivery. Flexibility to work night shifts and a commitment to patient care are essential.
