Description
Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) nursing position is located in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-volume ER environment. The position is suitable for experienced HCPs with a strong background in emergency medicine and relevant certifications, offering an opportunity to work on a 21-week contract during nights.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Alert, Treatment, and Continuous Nursing (ATCN), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB); must pass Traveler Telemetry Competency Exam. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Level-3 or higher Emergency Department; experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system; valid license to practice in the state of Washington.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with trauma, psychiatric, cardiac, or stroke patient populations; prior travel nursing experience is considered a plus.
- Float: Float rotation may be required, including coverage for FSED or other units within the organization as needed.
- Additional Information: The assignment is a 21-week contract to cover holiday periods, with a firm start date of 08/24/2026. The position includes a 24-bed ER setting and welcomes first-time travelers.
