Job Summary:
The Healthcare Professional is a Registered Nurse specializing in medical-surgical oncology. This outpatient position involves providing safe, evidence-based patient care, educating patients and families, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role emphasizes relationship-centered care and safety practices within a busy oncology outpatient setting.

Job Details:

  • Location: 1000 10TH AVE, NEW YORK, NY 10019
  • Schedule: 7.5-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License; BLS certification; 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience preferred; 1 year travel experience for travel positions (not required for Per Diem positions); EPIC experience highly preferred; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred, with active matriculation in a BSN program or relevant experience considered acceptable
  • Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Floor (MS ONC)
  • Shift Hours: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Minimum Experience: 0 years
  • Additional Information: Must have outpatient oncology experience specializing in radiation; ability to perform charge nurse duties; strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills; committed to quality improvement and patient safety practices; proficient in clinical documentation and inventory management; participation in ongoing professional development and shared decision-making activities.
